CHICAGO – In accordance with guidance from the Chicago Department of Public Health and UChicago Medicine, Athletics & Recreation has modified its building capacity and facility operations to ensure the health and safety of all visitors and building staff to minimize exposure and spread of the coronavirus.

At this time, we are pleased to announce that we will be expanding access to the Ratner Athletics Center to faculty, faculty emeriti and staff for Winter Quarter 2021.

We will offer complimentary memberships for faculty and staff for the month of January. Starting on February 1, 2021, monthly memberships will be available for a fee of $20.00/month. Advance membership registration is required in order to access the reservation system for use of Ratner facilities.

Please note that monthly memberships may be subject to temporary suspension if University, city, state, or national guidelines change.

At this time, we regret that we are unable to extend this expanded access to spouses, partners and children of faculty, faculty emeriti or staff or to members of the Hyde Park community. This restriction is in place to assure adequate access for students, faculty and staff members.
