Lisa Snowdon has said she felt “under pressure” to strip down to her bikini for a shower on I’m a Celebrity.
The presenter appeared on the series in 2016, the year Scarlett Moffatt was crowned Queen of the Jungle.
Reflecting upon her time on the ITV reality show, Snowdon said she delayed putting her bikini on “because [she] knew that the cameras were there”.
“We put it off for as long as possible,” she told MailOnline. “We were like ‘Oh no, we’re going to be in the shower shot,’ so we put it off for as long as possible in my year.”
Snowdon said that, when she finally did shower in her bikini, she felt “exposed”.
The former Capital FM DJ said she believes producers will place cameras around indoor washers for this year’s contestants in Gwrych, North Wales.
Celebrities, including EastEnders star Jessica Plummer, broadcaster Victoria Derbyshire and TV personality Shane Richie, will be taking part in what will be a much colder series than usual.
But, according to Snowdon: “There’s no way they will miss seeing people in the shower.”
“They will still have to shower, so they must have thought that through,” she added. “There will still be an iconic shower scene or two.”
